Bhagat Singh With His Daughter, Aman Sandhu Letter To My Father Bhagat Singh

About the Book

In this deeply moving and insightful book, Bhagat Singh's daughter, Aman Sandhu, shares her personal journey of discovering the true story of her father, the legendary Indian revolutionary. Through letters she imagines writing to her father, Aman explores Bhagat Singh's life, his beliefs, and his ultimate sacrifice.

Aman Sandhu was born in 1931, just a few months after her father was executed by the British Raj. She grew up hearing stories about her father's heroism, but it wasn't until she was an adult that she began to truly understand his legacy.

In this book, Aman shares her journey of discovery, as she pieces together the details of her father's life and comes to terms with his complex and often misunderstood legacy. She writes about her father's childhood, his education, his political awakening, and his role in the Indian independence movement.

Aman also explores the personal side of her father, as a husband, father, and friend. She shares her own memories of her father, as well as the stories she has heard from others who knew him.

This book is a powerful testament to the enduring legacy of Bhagat Singh and a moving exploration of the bond between a father and daughter.
